Quick Overview:
A battle between two teams (could be more if you have larger numbers) to swap the seats the fastest! This will take about 5-15 minutes to play!
Supplies You’ll Need:
1. Seats.
2. Students.
Prep:
A grid of seats. This can be a grid taped on the ground, or rows of chairs.
Game Play:
Separate teams evenly. Have them sit one seat apart from each other. You will need grid type of seating (not pews) to make this work. Assign each person a number (they will keep that number for the entire game, no matter where they sit. The facilitator will call out two numbers and the students must switch seats with the other number on their team. The team that switches fastest gets a point. They cannot sit in the same seat while they are switching. The team that gets to 15 first is the winner.
TIPS TO HELP THIS GAME MELT FACES:
- No climbing/jumping over chairs.
- The more numbers you call at a time, the crazier it gets! Call out all numbers to really get it going!
