Quick Overview:
This is a game you can go back to time and time again. It works in both small and large contexts, so it doesn’t matter if you only have 4 people face off or your whole youth group! And who doesn’t want to go back to the day that you can get a kids meal and wear your Crown around! Go over to your local Burger King and ask them for as many crowns as you can and then let the fun begin!
Supplies You’ll Need:
- Pool noodles. We took pool noodles and cut them in half. Each contestant gets one half of a pool noodle.
- Burger King Crowns. If you tell Burger King your with a church youth group they usually will give you them for free! You will need one per contestant but make sure to grab some extras.
Prep:
Not much prep here as long as you have all your supplies.
We played one time with our entire youth group and we taped three squares on the ground. Each one smaller than the other. This will help as the game develops to narrow the playing field and allow for more action on the field.
Game Play:
This game is super simple but super fun!
Each contestant gets one Burger King Crown. They place it on their head, but make sure they don’t jam it really far on their head or else the game wont be to fun and will last an eternity.
After each contestant has their crown in place give them their weapon (half a pool noodle) and your ready to begin.
Rules are simple. You can only use a pool noodle to knock off someone’s crown. Once your crown is knocked off you are out. Last person who still has a crown is crowned the King.
